Amy Yeoh is a highly sought-after singer and vocal coach from Malaysia.
Upon graduating from Monash University with a Business and Commerce degree, Amy decided that music was her number one passion. This led her to enrol in and get accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. Since returning, Amy has worked with some of the country’s most prolific artistes, producers and musicians including Malaysian Idol Jaclyn Victor and one of Malaysia's top producers, Aubrey Suwito. She was selected as one of the solo artistes to be on Aubrey Suwito’s The HeART of Hymns album, in 2012, which featured Malaysia’s top gospel singers & musicians. Amy has also been serving in her local church's worship & music ministry for the past 26 years. She was a dancer at a young age and subsequently a backup vocalist in her teens as well as choir conductor. Her most recent role was serving as the main service worship leader for the last 7 years.
Amy is also a high in demand vocal coach who regularly coaches big names like musical theatre darling Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina. Amy was chosen to be the the vocal director and lead singer for the highly successful stage musical, MadWorld, which had a total of 16,000 audience members over 8 shows. She was also the vocal coach for Malaysia's biggest ever musical production, The Secret Life of Nora, coaching the likes of Puan Sri Tiara, Tony Eusoff, Adibah Noor, Aznil Nawawi and New York’s Broadway star, Ryan Silverman (The Phantom of the Opera).
Currently based in London & Kuala Lumpur, Amy is an experienced performer, having performed at countless weddings and high-profile corporate events for companies such as McKinsey & Co., PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte Malaysia, RHB Bank and Ernst & Young. She is also a regular performer at Kuala Lumpur’s most well-known music venue, No Black Tie, which features daily performances by the country’s top artistes and musicians.
In addition to her teaching and performing career, Amy has several original songs under her belt. In 2015, Amy performed at her maiden concert entitled Amy Sings the Greatest Hits. It was a successful sold-out concert that received rave reviews from audience members as well as members of the press.
